About the Role

Brainster is expanding its portfolio of international projects in technology, AI, digital skills, and education innovation.
We are seeking an International Projects Manager with strong experience in EU and globally funded programs to support project implementation across Brainster, Brainster NEXT College, and NU Academy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the implementation of international projects, including Horizon Europe, Creative Europe, Digital Europe, Erasmus+, and other major global programs.
  • Lead day-to-day project execution, ensuring alignment with work plans, donor requirements, and high-quality delivery of activities, outputs, and reports.
  • Work closely with Brainster’s International Cooperation team and internal departments to ensure smooth workflows, timely inputs, and effective project coordination.
  • Oversee internal processes for documentation, procurement, compliance, and task distribution, ensuring accountability across all teams.
  • Monitor internal systems for budgets, KPIs, deadlines, expenditures, and performance, in close collaboration with the finance team for accurate reporting and audit readiness.
  • Prepare technical and narrative reports for donors, partners, and internal management; maintain comprehensive documentation and monitoring files.
  • Maintain regular communication with donors and funding bodies, clarifying requirements and resolving operational or administrative issues.
  • Manage project risks, update work plans, ensure quality assurance, and proactively address bottlenecks or delays.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for international partners and consortia; coordinate communication, lead meetings, and ensure timely partner contributions.
  • Represent Brainster Group in external events, conferences, project meetings, and working groups to strengthen visibility and positioning.
  • Improve Brainster’s project management processes, tools, and systems, and stay informed on education and tech trends to support new project development.

About You

You have:

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience managing international projects in IT, NGO, IGO, or EU-funded environments.
  • A proven track record with Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Creative Europe, Digital Europe, CERV, IPA, or national innovation funding programs, including reporting, compliance, and partner coordination.
  • Strong understanding of donor rules, project procedures, budgeting, procurement, and monitoring frameworks.
  • A university degree in a relevant field (international relations, business, management, education, economics, public policy).
  • Project management certifications (PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, PM2, etc.) are a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience managing international partners and consortiums.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with ability to produce clear reports and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Brainster-related thematic areas: tech education, digital skills, innovation ecosystems, and entrepreneurship.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and generative AI tools.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex workflows across multiple teams.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for education, digital transformation, talent development, and meaningful project impact.
