IT Security Specialist

We are looking for an Interim IT Security Specialist to join Shell in Assen!

The IT Security Specialist is typically the go-to person and is vital to how Shell leverages and delivers digital solutions. You will be a part of the NAM IDT Service & Operations Management (SOM) team.

This team delivers secure, reliable, and affordable E2E IT operations to the Upstream, Integrated Gas, New Energies, Projects & Technology business. This role is about:

• Support IDSO services and products for the NAM business.
• Being responsible for supporting the IDT Operations lead.
• Supporting managing (some) supplier performance and contracts.
• Supporting reviewing the landscapes and products for enhancement and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Supporting identification of systemic issues in IT Landscapes, driving structural improvements while balancing costs with business value; supporting Service Operations Management (SOM) in optimizing the landscape of Total Cost of Ownership.
• Support raising new project demand via proper channels (NAM demand council & ServiceNow a.o.). including analyzing and understanding business functional and non-functional requirements and providing sign-off, with Agreement to Deploy and Agreement to Operate as key milestones.
• Managing (small/medium) projects.
• Managing escalated IT Incidents.

For this position, fluent English is required, while Dutch would be a great plus.

The position is hybrid, with at least one day per week at the office in Assen, with 40 working hours a week. The contract will start on 1st March 2023 and last until 31st December 2023.
